Welcome to the world of dying ….

Often colourways are inspired by my everyday life, and is often the surrounding landscape, something as simple as the stunning yellow flowers on gorse, and sometimes it is whimsical, a Glaswegian mural or exhibition….whatever the inspiration, it always involves a slow process and a love of beautiful hand crafted yarn.

Fybre Twist is based in St Andrews in North East Scotland. We trade exclusively online but are passionate about connecting with others so do contact us by email and check us out on Instagram too. We are a solo enterprise, and are all about colour.

Are you passionate about colour? If you are then you have come to the right place….all my yarn is carefully dyed by hand in small batches of 3-5 skeins. I take pride in the process being slow, thoughtful and each colourway is unique and tells a story, because connections to time and place are all part of the creative process here at Fybre Twist.
